This is a sunrise in Lake Placid, NY ...its the view from my apartment balcony....there's whiteface mt. way on the left...and mt. Marcy (tallest peak in NY) way on the right. This picture, of course, doesnt even come close to capturing the fire red that was the sky that morning....but at least its in my mind forever :-).

I love the view of Whiteface Mountain ^.^ I love it there and I think I've been to the same place that this was taken at

Glad you like it, this was taken from a building on the edge of mirror lake, the little lake that Lake Placid is actually built around.
